Is there anything better than getting a curvy onramp to yourself? Yes there is. Having it start with a traffic light under an overpass so you can go to redline in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd while hearing that glorious echo. May not BE fast, but sure feels fast when you’re full-throttle around a bend with the top down.

I’m going to miss this exhaust when I go turbo. Unfortunately at 2 1/4" diameter it’s not going to cut it :(

So I live two blocks from this onramp and I’ve grown to love the race car noises heard while in bed. There are two lanes, so this is the scene of many impromptu “races” between all manor of assorted exotics, tuners, muscle cars, bikes, etc. This area has it all, and everyone likes to play around a bit.

I’ve accepted the fact that my engine will blow up at some point. As much as possible I drive 1st gear kinda high then red line 2nd thru 4th.

Nothing quite beats having the entire Mexico City ring road to yourself after a date.

Its a three lane highway with no one to annoy you after 8:30PM (the rush hour’s end)
Cold air rushing you with the windows open, your music all the way up, and your highbeams iluminating nothing but tarmac,paint, and concrete.


If your date is short and you finish before 10PM, you can hitch a ride to the elevated ring road and have clear views of all of the city, it’s mesmerizing.
